Tremendously great

Prosnorkulus is a god among men and I feel privileged to simply read his name, let alone watch this stunning retelling of his incredible deeds -- which I suspect were toned down for our benefit, as the truth would be too terrifyingly incredible for lesser men like myself to watch without weeping insanely at his sheer manliness.

Your characterizations, voices and writing are hilarious, and your animation is just primitive enough to serve this hectic and bizarre material perfectly. Most of all your timing is, of course, pppppprrrreeeeecccciiiisssse.

I'd shake your hand but the extra testosterone I'd absorb from your skin would probably drive me mad.

MiddleFingerRings responds:

lul

I keep watching this.

At first, days ago, I thought it was pretty funny. But some elusive quality of it has really stuck with me, and I keep coming back to watch it over and over, reveling in the tiny, non sequitur touches and overall disjointed insanity.

Your use of extremely rapid cuts, cutouts and objects in the animation, and almost subliminal background music are particularly fine. And the slight processing on all the voices gives them a grating edge that really adds to the disturbing atmosphere of this flash.

I applaud your focused, relentless nonsense that pushes this pointless stupidity into outright hilarity. Now if I could just stop shouting "ON THE MOOOOON!!"

Skaijo responds:

I APPRECIATE THE ANALYSIS. xD

YES, my masters

Oh how I have pined for more chronographic excellence. Thank you for dominating in just the right way. Special bonus points (not that you needed them) for dredging up that old 80s music.

CorpseGrinderClock responds:

Joliet Jane left a response that got deleted in the Canas hack noting that funky guitar seemed to disappear in the eighties. Pity, really.

Reduce, reuse, watch this again

I was going to give you a 4/9, but that duck totally put you over the top. Also the jamming gator helped. Good message, great work!

Lalo responds:

thanks :) Im glad to hear the little duck helped lol.

Speaking a Native American...

I find this hilarious. Great animation, well done in every respect. Nice voice work, pleasing palettes and good use of video effects, and most importantly a good story. I particularly liked the floodwaters bringing the hammer down -- that take could have been even slower. Real nice!

Pixmintro responds:

Thanks, yeah I kind of wanted to do some more anticipation for that scene, and even add some more scenes building anticipation. But eh what are ya gonna do, glad you liked it :)

Thanks for keeping it short.

Especially the credits. It added to my enjoyment and your score.

spitfire responds:

I kept it short with your mother last night as well.

It's a decently done didactic monologue

Your beliefs are well enough explained for an introductory outline and fairly entertainingly presented. The sound quality is good, and the animation adequate for such a long piece.

What you've presented doesn't require the mysticism with which you've imbued it, though; semiotics provides a better framework for understanding ideas (for instance), and as a philosophical branch requires no specific belief system.

I applaud your diligence and inquiry. Keep going, I think you'll find something better.

RiverJordan responds:

What I'm going to explain in time, is that there is no specific belief system required to understand this. Just belief itself.

A lot of work!

Great music and well-timed animation, with a really good message besides. I'd say don't give up your day job, but you might be able to make it doing flash too!

ActiveObjectX responds:

My day job is saving the world.

But the world has been saved.

So I'm out of a day job.

I need to hire a villain to get my job moving again.

Very nice

Super smooth and finely timed, and nice use of backgrounds too. As a tiny experimental construct, it's top-notch.

coughing-dog responds:

cheers

Bizarre but compelling

I was not bored, nor sickened. This puts your work above most of the flash I've watched. I vote for pass.

nygiantsroxursox responds:

You are a good comrade!

I draw. I vote. I like voting.
