There's really nothing here.

It's just some techno music and a shot of a spaceship moving. Exposition is not the same as story -- story is something we actually see happening. The Antichrist? Aliens? An unholy alliance? Humans? Earth? I didn't see any of those things, and they're apparently what your story is supposed to be about.

You'll get a better rating when you actually show some of the cool things you just put up text about. Any of them.

Jaiba responds:

Well the plot is just starting to develop.

Very, very strange

And I say that after having seen a lot of strangeness. Your mix of video, animation, and pure nonsense was very entertaining, even more so for being like nothing else on the site. In fact, you get extra credit from me for producing something this off-kilter -- I can honestly say I kept watching because I had no idea how it would turn out. Or if.

Glad this is keeping you off the streets. Well done!

Gerkinman responds:

But this movie was filmed on the streets ;D

Thanks for the review ^^

Nice animation!

Also excellent design work, great music selection, well-chosen color palette, and funny little story -- and a well-animated cute girl! Really, I can't think of anything else I'd ask for in a Flash. Fine work all around!

Very interesting

Personally, I was fascinated by your approach in this Flash. The fluid, ever-changing text coupled with Guthrie's sprechstimme was a real stroke of genius. Even though I've heard this song countless times -- more than enough to grow bored with it on the radio every Thanksgiving -- I found the combination you've created entrancing, and was disappointed when it ended so prematurely. Doing the whole song would be a monumental feat, but I have no doubt I'd watch your version for all 18.3 minutes! Very good (if quite unfinished) work.

Hilariously hilarious with hilariosity

Stylistically, your Flash is the most accomplished fusion of mad current skills and old-school "animutation" stylings I have ever seen, and a fantastic piece of work. In content, it buries the sendup needle. Smooth, incisive, vicious -- what more excellence could I ask for? (Although I did half expect Anonymous to be Colin Mochrie, just for old time's sake.)

If this review doesn't permanently ban me from Scientology, my lack of money will. Great work for a probably pointless cause!

It's the best Atari game ever

And it's definitely the happiest 8-bit dancing food I've ever seen. A great pick for the song -- and I'm pretty sure the bright flashing colors caused endorphins to be released in my brain. A great piece of work!

Very, very annoying and stupid

And yet, the best version of that song I have ever heard, and the best drawing of Corpsegrinder Clock also. I enjoyed its simple idiocy. Yay for you, Toaster.

SsjToasterClock responds:

this one gotta be the clevest review i've gotten in a while

Very well done

And an absolutely incredible job with the synch, which must have been extremely difficult. Artistic and dreamy -- great work!

notorious responds:

haha glad someone can appreciate the immense difficulty of the syncing- which was 3/4 of the time spent on this flash.

Thanks for the good review!

Low-key and hilarious

The fate of hopes and dreams is a great subject, and you've executed it deftly -- put it right into the ground, in fact. I've never had so much fun watching dreams shatter and the dead be disposed of. Bravo for your excellent flash!

FREELENS responds:

Thanks for this great review!
Cheers!

Seriously -- you're smoking

Truly, richly hilarious -- each joke superbly animated and succinctly told! You guys are some dang funny Aggies.
