Not entertaining

First: Why make a two-player game? Do most people surfing the internet for games do it as a couple? This should have one computer-controlled ship which could be switched to two-player if needed. Second: For two-player controls, one set should be on -one- side of the keyboard, and the other set on the -opposite- side. I'd have thought that would be obvious! Third: The walls are too big, and there's no way to get more ammo. In an actual two-player, it'd be almost impossible to kill your opponent in the amount of time given with the ammo provided. I tried it with the other guy just sitting there, and I barely nailed him -- no bullets left and less than 300 seconds left. Bullets just don't do enough damage.

The only thing worth seeing here is the graphics, which are only okay. Get it together, man.

Sorry i tried. I don't know how to make a computer controlled player yet. I will make a beta version.

I wondered about that

Very informative! The only other thing I wanted to see was how many points each membership levels required. Good work.

Pilot-Doofy responds:

Those are hard to do because you'd have to update the levels 10 - 30 every day.

Everytime HumanTarget52 deposits exp. points, it widens the gap between the other levels.

But I'm glad you liked it.

A great game!!

This puts together all your previous versions in one tremendous, excellent adventure. The animation is great, and the music is the best! Castle Cat is great!!

My only complaint: I accidentally backtracked after the second shop, and was stuck inside the Venetian again. Since I had already done the bee level, there was no way out again -- I was trapped there until the time ran out. Dead cat indeed.

Suggestions

Gameplay is good, but how many points does the teacher have? I had my guys whalin' the crap out of him, with a fair number of crit hits, and I still had no idea if I was even close to winning. And it seems a little harder than it should be for level 1 -- with new characters, with no techniques, I ended up with all of them dead most of the time. Still, a good demo.

A public service

Your animation was not only well done, but eminently useful. Now I won't be at a loss when someone swears at me in German, and even have some response options. This is something I can -use-! Thanks!

Zoidberg's the best

But I wish the sound quality on this had been higher. Some of the phrases are cut off at the end, and a couple are much louder than the others. Also, several have pops and clicks at the end, like you were shutting off a tape recorder. Couldn't those have been edited out while you were translating them to digital? This was a great idea though. I'd like to see an expanded and cleaned-up version. You've barely scraped the surface of Zoidberg's shell!

Terminator responds:

Yeah i noticed it after I had added them into the movie and optimised it. I will update the soundboard once those few small things have been fixed. When updated, I will release Dr. Zoidberg Soundboard v2

An interesting demo

It's an interesting puzzle format, and I liked the animations. I'd like to see the rooms be bigger, and more done with the backgrounds. I'd be cool to see office-like, lobby-like and garden-like rooms, so it seemed like a story. But the gameplay is solid.

I'd like to point out that it's Shift+Arrow to crawl, not Control+Arrow like it says in the game.

TheComet responds:

I'm making it based on a story, havn't made the intro yet.

Knockout!!

Tremendous sound effects!! And the 'hit' animations for some of them (especially Wade) were great! I've been waiting for a -long- time to whack some of those. A great job!

It's a fine little game

And I totally appreciate its quietness, seeing as how (A) it's a golf game, and (B) it'll be played on someone's cel phone next to me and lots of noise would just annoy the hell out of me. The movement was really smooth, the ball physics were really nice, and the levels were pleasant. It could have used a marker to tell you where you were on the course diagram, but otherwise very nice work.

Man, that was fun!

Your game was challenging, well-planned-out, and fun to play. The scripting and gameplay ran really smoothly, and it took up a nice long time for a Flash game. The enemies were good and the rooms were challenging but not impossible. I didn't get bored and I thought I could win -- and that's the highest praise I think anyone can say about a game. Awesome job!

I liked the clue points. I think more could be done with the backgrounds and enemies, but this is way past cool for a demo version. I imagine more will be done with the backgrounds when you get to the other worlds. It would also be nice to see some other friends of his who could help him out, restoring his health or something.

Also, I totally liked his Mestizo hat. I gave you extra points just for that. Can't wait to see an expanded version of this!

I draw. I vote. I like voting.
